I like the Glog that you made to complete the Analysis VS Summary assignment! I choose to make a Glog for my assignment as well. Although, I had never made a Glog before, I am glad I did because it was really fun. I also think you did a really good job explaining the difference between analysis and summary. I had a hard time deciding how to describe those two ideas, I think your description of analysis and summary was basic and easy to understand. Your Glog would be really helpful to anyone who was having a hard time distinguishing the difference between those two writing tools. Also, thanks for getting your assignment done early so I can finish my week three comments ahead of time!
I like the Glog as well. Very unique. I thought that was a great idea how you added synonyms for each of the two! I think for an analysis another keyword along with an interpretation is opinion. When someone gives an opinion they usually tell why that is their view, they give supporting details. Those are also needed in an analysis. I enjoyed the visuals. As Tracy said thank you for getting your post in early as you allowed me to finish my comments!
I also liked your Glog. I haven't done one yet and you made it look like fun. I appreciate how simplified you made the concept. It is easy and fun to look at and you leave feeling like you learned something. The background makes the lettering stand out. The whole thing is set up in a way that is easy to see and understand. The visuals are great and it was interesting to see. I think you did a great job. Carli
I liked the artwork, mate, but I don't think you covered enough in the analysis. It is more than just interpretation of the story, it also includes arguments and opinions about the content, flavored and sprinkled liberally with relevant context and our own prejudices and biases.
Your glog looked very nice and was creative. You kept your explanations to the point, but I think that you could have added a little more to the analysis piece. Maybe more on how an analysis is an argument and an opinion piece that others may or may not agree with.
I too elected to create a glog, it was my first one and I thought more fun. Nice job on yours!
I liked your explanations on both the analysis and on the summary but feel that you could gone a little more in depth of the meanings of each in relation to the course. It seems as though you just scratched the surface. However, to someone who already knew the meanings they would have fully "gotten" it.
